Yes, I would Sam I Am! When I was a kid I loved Dr. Seuss books. As a parent and a teacher I loved how these imaginative and engaging books inspired a love of reading among children.
Imagination holds the key to any successful campaign.
Engaging your audience is critical!
National Dates provide numerous ways to showcase your personality, share your message, generate social media engagement for your message, while influencing your target audience.
For example, if you wanted to have fun with employees and help the community, you might create a book drive for a local organization such as Apex Public School Foundation . Create a call to action for donations by handing out red and white stove pipe- Seuss hats to employees prior to the drive and encouraging them to wear the hats the day of the donation or all week long as a reminder would have been a fun way to impact the local community.
A Seuss inspired book drive also creates fun in the workplace. Asking employees to bring in a copy of their favorite childhood Seuss book for donation would allow co-workers the chance to get to know one another better. How? By putting the collection bin in a central location, then posting a chart to tally up which book titles were the most donated would inspire some spirited inter office dialogue as employees championed their favorite title. ( We can even create custom stickers with your company logo to put inside the book or include a message to young readers!)
A missed opportunity? Maybe, if you wanted to do it today, but it's never too late to create a fun promotion. Books can be personalized, ( even Dr. Seuss) making them a great gift for a referral partner's waiting room, a gift for a frequent shopper for a topic they'd like to read or even providing a custom bookmark to local school students challenge to read. Provide the school a reading incentive by including a coupon on the bookmark to your restaurant. Hand out book mark style coupons to schools from K-12 to College all around your town!
